Squid Fish Masala Recipe in Marathi Chef Tushar

Squid, also known as Mhakley or Makhul, is a popular seafood in Maharashtra's coastal region. It is similarly delicious and comparable to baby shark chutney, or jawala chutney. All you need to prepare this delectable Makhali Masala is some fresh, meaty squid. For those who prefer excellent and delightful non-vegetarian food, this dish is a must-have.

Ingredients
1 big Squid (cleaned & deskinned)
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
1/2 tsp Salt

For Masala
2 Onions
1/2 Dried Coconut
3 Sankeshwari Chillies
3 Bedgi Chillies
1 Black Cardamom
1 Star Anise
1 Bay Leaf
1 Cinnamon Stick
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
1 tbsp Coriander Seeds
1 tsp Poppy Seeds
1/2 tsp Black Peppercorns
5 Cardamoms
1/2 tsp Mace
1/2 tsp Fenugreek Seeds
1/2 cup Coriander Leaves (with stems)
1 piece Tamarind
1 cup Water

Making Makli Masala:
2-3 tbsp Oil
2 Onions chopped
1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1/4 tsp Hing
1 Tomato chopped
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
Salt (as required)
Water (as required)
4 tbsp Masala Paste
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1/2 cup Water
Coriander Leaves (chopped)

For Garnish
juice of 1/2 lemon
Coriander Leaves (chopped)
