Try it!SPICY IDLI WEDGESIngredients6-8 idlis½ cup corn starch1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley leavesSalt to tasteOil for fryingSpice Mix2 tsps onion powder1 tbsp red chilli powder ½ tsp crushed black peppercorns2 tsps garlic powder1 tsp mixed dried herbsSalt to tasteTo serveTomato ketchupMustard pasteMethod1. To make the spice mix, put onion powder in a mortar. Add chilli powder, crushed black peppercorns, garlic powder, mixed dried herbs and salt and crush well with a pestle.2. Cut the idlis into wedges.3. Take corn flour in a bowl, add parsley, salt and ½ cup water. Add the idlis and mix well.4. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Slide in the idli wedges into the hot oil and deep fry till golden brown and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper and transfer it in a bowl.5. Sprinkle the prepared spice mix on top and toss well.6.
