Freshly baked tart filled with chocolate ganache topped with marshmallows.

S’MORE TART

Ingredients

250 grams short crust dough
Marshmallows as required
Refined flour (maida) for dusting
1 cup fresh cream
1 cup chopped dark chocolate

Method

1. Dust the worktop with some flour and roll out the short crust dough into thin sheet. Cut into a large roundel.
2. Line a spring bottom tart mould with the round sheet, cover it with a parchment paper and fill the mould with chickpeas.
3. Put the mould into the preheated oven and blind bake for 10-15 minutes. Remove from oven and discard the chickpeas and parchment paper.
4. To prepare ganache, boil cream in a non-stick pan
5. Put dark chocolate in a bowl. Add hot cream and mix till the chocolate melts.
6. Pour the ganache in the baked tart and tap.
7. Halve the marshmallows and arrange over the prepared tart covering it completely.
8. Demould and place the tart on a serving platter. Torch the marshmallows using a blow torch till it slightly melts and turns golden brown.
9. Cut into wedges and serve.
