Sisig or Pork Sisig is a Filipino food made from minced pork. This Sisig Recipe makes use of minced pigs ears and meat (pork belly). Sisig originated in Pampanga, a place a few kilometers North of Manila. Aside from using ears and belly, the pig’s face (also called mascara) is used to make sisig. These ingredients are sautéed with onion, chillies, soy sauce, pig brain or mayonnaise, and other ingredients in order to come-up with a plate of delicious sisig.
