Peng Tiong Bahru Wanton Mee was originally in Market Street Food Centre, also known as Golden Shoe Food Centre, since 2006. Due to the redevelopment of the Golden Shoe carpark, hawkers located in Market Street Food Centre were relocated to Market Street Interim Food Centre. Over the years, stall owner Mr Desmond Lim has refined the Char Siew recipe and added more lean meat to suit his customers' taste buds. Their Char Siew is marinated overnight to give the best flavour. What's different is also the Ngoh Hiang () and fried dumplings that add variety to the dish. A bowl of sumptuous wanton mee is filled with these items, not commonly found in the dish.Meat slices with burnt charred bits on the edges, together with crispy pork lard, keep customers coming back. Another must-try dish is their big, braised chicken feet; they are fried first and stewed till soft and gelatinous!Operating hours:8am - 3pmClosed on Weekends, Public HolidaysAddress:Market Street Interim Hawker Centre #01-23Music:Hey! from https://www.bensound.comJoin HappyCat. for more food adventures!
