A family business established since 1955, the stall specialises in Soup Kambing (mutton soup). Currently jointly operated by second generation Mr Hajamaideen and his brothers, the business was originally startedby their father on a pushcart, and subsequently shifted to Upper Boon Keng Food Centre in 1974.The stall offers a variety of parts like mutton cubes, ribs, stomach, brain, bone marrow, and tendon. Onions, tomato, chilli, ginger, garlic etc. are blended and added into the soup, then left to stew for about 2 hours before ready to be served. The broth, brewed using lamb parts and spices, is glossy and rich, infused with flavours of mutton.Dip some bread in a bowl of soup to soak up the rich broth! After hours of brewing, mutton is very tender. It is truly a delicacy many enjoy!(Photos of the founder in the video are provided by the stall owners)Operating hours: 11am - 11.30pmClosed every alternate Tuesday (correction in video)Address:Upper Boon Keng Food Centre #01-03Music:Energy from https://www.bensound.comJoin HappyCat. for more food adventures!
