Sungei Road used to be a place where rich Eurosians and Asians live. During 1930, the Singapore largest Flea market appeared at Sungei Road. This flea market is famous for selling second hand item. We have reached this coffeeshop selling famous Laksa. The location of this coffee shop is near Jalan Bersah. The nearest MRT is the Jalan Bersa MRT. It is 2pm and there are people queueing for the laksa. The laksa is cooked using charcoal. 1 bowl of laksa costs $3, it is not expensive but the bowl is small. You can eat it as a snack. At this stall, they dont provide any chopsticks. You have to use spoon to eat. I have the same feeling as eating Katong Laksa. The cockles, bean sprouts and fish cakes portion are generous.
