Seekh Kabab Shawarma
Ingredients for Pita Bread:
All-purpose flour 2 cups
Yeast 1 tbsp
Baking powder 1/2 tsp
Salt 1/2 tsp
Sugar 1 tbsp
Olive oil 2 tbsp
Water (lukewarm) as required

Ingredients for Garlic Mayo Sauce:
Yogurt 1 cup
Cream 1/4 cup
Garlic cloves (minced) 1 tbsp
Mayonnaise 1 cup
Salt to taste
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
White pepper powder 1/4 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp

Ingredients for French dressing:
Mayonnaise 1 cup
Ketchup 1/2 cup
Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Chili sauce 2 tbsp
Vinegar 1 tsp
Oil 1 tbsp
Garlic (chopped) 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Mustard paste 1 tsp
Ingredients for Vinaigretted Vegetable:
Vinegar 1/2 cup
Hot Water 1 cup
Carrot (julienne) 1/2 cup
Cucumber (julienne) 1/2 cup
Capsicum (julienne) 1/2 cup
Onion (sliced) 1/2 cup

Ingredients for Assembling:
K&N’s Seekh Kabab 6-8
Pita Bread as required
Garlic mayo sauce as required
French dressing as required
Vinaigrette vegetables as required

Directions for Pita Bread Preparation:
1. Add flour, yeast, baking powder, salt, sugar, and oil in a bowl. Mix well and add lukewarm water gradually and knead a soft dough. Cover with cling and let it proof for 30 to 35 minutes or until double in size.
Directions for Garlic Mayo Sauce Preparation:
2. In a bowl add yogurt, cream, garlic, mayo, salt, white pepper, black pepper, and lemon juice.
3. Mix all these ingredients until well combined. Your garlic mayo sauce is ready.
Directions for French Dressing Preparation:
4. In a bowl add mayo, ketchup, black pepper, lemon juice, mustard paste, chili sauce, oil, garlic, salt, and vinegar.
5. Mix all these ingredients well and your sauce is ready. Set aside.
Directions for Vinaigrette Vegetables:
6. Mix vinegar and hot water in a bowl. Dip carrots, capsicum, cucumber and onion in it for 20 to 25 minutes, and your veggies are ready.
Directions for Assembling:
7. Prepare K&N’s Seekh Kabab as per instructions on the pack.
8. Take your pita dough, divide it into 6 equal balls. Then take each ball and roll it out in a small thick circle shape.
9. Heat a flat pan and cook your pita breads on it for 3 to 4 minutes each side on low flame or until fully cooked.
10. Place your pita bread on board, drizzle some garlic mayo sauce and French dressing on it. Place prepared K&N’s Seekh kabab on it and top it with vinaigrette vegetables.
11. Wrap the shawarma and serve.

Cooking time: 35 minutes
