Make the perfect Halwai Style Gajar Ka halwa at home and enjoy this winter treat with friends and family. #HappyCookingToYou #FoodFusion #WinterRecipeWritten Recipe: https://bit.ly/3GV8qByHalwai Style Gajar Ka HalwaServes 10-12Recipe in English:Ingredients:-Gajar (Carrots) peeled 2 & kg-Doodh (Milk) fresh 1 & litre-Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder) 1 tsp-Sugar 1 Cup or as required-Zafran (Saffron strands) 1 pinch or as required Substitute: Nutmeg powder tsp -Desi ghee (Clarified butter) Cup or as required -Kaju (Cashew nuts) sliced 14-15-Badam (Almonds) blanched & sliced Cup-Desi ghee (Clarified butter) tbs-Khoya unsweetened 500g-Chandi warq (Edible silver leaves) -Pista (Pistachios) sliced Directions:-Grate carrots with the help of the garter.-In a wok,add grated carrots,mix well & cook until moisture is reduced (15-18 minutes).-Remove the lid and continue cooking until carrots water dries up.-Add milk and mix well,bring it to boil & cook carrots with milk on medium flame until milk evaporates (40-50 minutes). -Add cardamom powder & mix well.-Add sugar,mix well & cook on medium flame for 8-10 minutes.-Add saffron strands & mix well.-In a frying pan,clarified butter & let it melt.-Add cashew nuts,almonds,mix well & fry until light golden.-In a wok,add fried nuts,mix well & cook until ghee separates (12-15 minutes). -In a frying pan,add clarified butter & let it melt.-Add khoya,mix well & cook on low flame until it melts.-In a serving dish,add gajar ka halwa,khoya and spread evenly.-Garnish with edible silver leaves,pistachios & serve!
