Sea Tripod uses a contemporary method of steaming. Diners will first be given a serving of rice and the Chefs broth to be poured into the bottom of the wok. Next, lay the different ingredients onto a circular steamer and close the lid for two to six minutes for it to cook. You could check with the waiter or waitresses around if are not sure if the food is fully cooked. Lastly, savour the homemade congee imbued with all the juices from seafood cooked. You could also add in extra eggs and seasoning for more flavours.

The restaurant serves both an ala-carte and set menu.

The Economical Set comes with Live Prawns, Sea Bass, Gong Gong, Scallops, Chopped Chicken, and an assortment of veggie. While the Premium set comes with Live Prawns, Crab, Red Grouper Steak, Scallops, Chopped Chicken and an assortment of vegetables.

If it is a day to treat you and your loved ones, definitely go for their Luxury set which features the Boston Lobster, Australian Jade Abalone, Silver Perch, Fresh Scallops, Live Prawns, and Shark Cartilage Porridge.

Besides being able to steam your own food, Sea Tripod also sells Zi Char style dishes and grilled food items like Satay and Sambal Stingray for something for flavourful.
