Shahi Tukda
Instant Shahi Tukda with a flavor of Zaffran soaked with Kesar Rabdi is a must try at home. Check out the recipe below.

Ingredients quantity
Bread slices 8 nos.
Ghee to fry
Saffron soaked in milk 1 tbsp
Raisins 1 tbsp
Almonds chopped 1 tbsp
Sugar ¼ cup + 3-4 tbsp
Water ¼ cup
Cardamom powder 2 Tsp
Milk 1 cup
Method
1. Take bread slices and cut into roundels and keep aside.
2. Heat ghee in a pan and fry the bread roundels till golden brown.
3. Remove on an absorbent paper and keep aside.
4. Using a strainer fry the raisins and keep aside.
5. In another pan add sugar and water, stir till sugar melts completely.
6. Add ½ tbsp of saffron milk in the syrup and remove from heat.
7. Add the bread slices to the sugar syrup
8. Sprinkle 1 tsp cardamom powder and leave the mixture aside for some time.
9. After a while flip the bread roundels on the other side, so that they absorb the syrup.
10. In another pan add heat 1 cup milk and cook for 20-25 mins or till the milk thickens, to make the rabdi.
11. Add a ladleful of the milk from the pan to the bread and leave it aside.
12. Add 3-4 Tbsp of sugar to the milk and cook further till milk thickens.
13. In a serving plate first arrange the bread roundels and then pour the sugar syrup over it,
14. Add ½ tbsp saffron milk,1 tsp cardamom powder to the rabdi and mix well,
15. Pour the rabdi over the bread roundels.
16. garnish with chopped almonds, raisins and serve hot or cold.
