Check out Preetha's easy and special home made recipe of ribbon pakoras, a savoury you can't stop munching on and leave your comments below!Ingredients:Rice flour- 1 cupBesan- 1/ 2 cupTurmeric powder- a pinchRed chilli powder-1 tspSalt- to tasteHing powder/ Hing dissolved in water- a pinchGhee/ White Butter- 1 tbspWater- to make doughOil- for deep fryingMethod Of PreparationFor making the dough* Firstly, in a large mixing bowl take 1 cup rice flour and 1 cup besan.* Also add 1 tsp chili powder, ΒΌ tsp turmeric, a pinch of hing and salt to taste.* Combine all the dry ingredients well.* Now pour ghee in the mixture and mix it well. Add water little by little and start to knead the dough.* Knead the dough to smooth, non-sticky and soft dough.For Frying the Ribbon Pakoda* Furthermore, take ribbon pakoda mold (straight slit) and fix to the chakli maker.* Now make a cylindrical shape out of dough and place the dough inside the maker.* Also tighten the lid and heat the oil.* Directly press the ribbon pakoda into hot oil moving hand in a circular motion.* Flip the pakora and fry till they turn golden brown and crispy from both sides.* Drain them to the paper towel to remove excess oil.* Crispy ribbon pakoda / ribbon murukku is ready.Chakli: https://goo.gl/jNxDD8Love our recipes?
