Red Bean Mochi | The Chinese Cuisine

Mochi with homemade red bean filling! Much healthier than the store bought kind, but tastes just as good!

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup glutinous rice flour
- water
- homemade red bean paste! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXtf6I2shiY
- toasted coconut flakes

DIRECTIONS:
1. slowly add water into glutinous rice flour and mix
2. knead until it forms a ball of dough
3. roll dough into balls, flatten, and add in red bean paste
4. steam for around 15 minutes
5. coat in toasted coconut flakes
6. serve and enjoy!
