JACKFRUIT BIRYANIINGREDIENTS: Jackfruit - 500 gramsButtermilk - 500 mlYogurt - 1 cupRed chilli powder - 1 tspCumin powder - ½ tspCoriander powder - 1 tspBiryani masala powder - 1 tspGinger garlic paste - 1 tspWhole garam masala - 2 tspGreen chillies - 5 nos.Brown onions - 1 tspSalt - As per tasteBasmati rice - 1 cupOil - As requiredOnions - 2 nos.Turmeric powder - ½ tspMint leaves - 1 bunchCoriander leaves - 1 bunchChickpeas (soaked) - 1 cupWater - As required Tomatoes - 2 nos.DIRECTIONS:Firstly, take jackfruit cut into pieces and soak it in the buttermilk.Heat oil in a pan, add jackfruit pieces fry it for 3-4 minutes.Take yogurt in a bowl, add red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, biryani masala powder, ginger garlic paste, whole garam masala, green chillies, brown onions, salt mix it and add fried jackfruit pieces, water cook it for few minutes.Heat water in a pan, add salt, basmati rice mix it and cooked it for 70% using a lid.Heat oil in a pan,add onions, turmeric powder, mint leaves, coriander leaves, salt, soaked chickpeas, water, tomatoes cook it for 15-20 minutes closed on a slow flame.Then add boiled rice, saffron water, brown onions cook it for 4-5 minutes closed on a slow flame.
