Rajasthani Mirchi Vada | Mirchi Vada Recipe | Mirchi Bhajji | Scroll Recipe
Ingredient:
• Bhavnagari chilies 4-5
• 2 chilies
• coriander seeds
• Methi/Fenugreek Seeds
• Mustard seeds
• cumin seeds
• Mashed Potatoes 2-3
• 2 TSP fennel seeds powder
• 1 TSP Cumin seeds Powder
• 1 TSP Turmeric Powder
• salt to taste
• coriander leaves
• 3 TSP Amchur Powder
• Hing/Asafoetida ¼ TSP
• Besan 1 cup
• Baking soda ¼ TSP
Process:
• Masala Mix: 2 Dr chilies, coriander seeds, Methi/Fenugreek Seeds, Mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Roast it and grind it. Keep it separately.
• Mashed Potatoes 2-3
• Add 1 TSP Masala Mix
• Add 1 TSP fennel seeds powder
• Add ½ TSP Cumin seeds Powder
• Add ½ TSP Turmeric Powder
• Add salt to taste
• Add coriander leaves
• Add 2 TSP Amchur Powder
• Add Hing/Asafoetida ¼ TSP
• Mix it nicely
• With a knife slit each chili from one side. Remove the seeds and the pith.
• Stuff the potato mixture very well in the green chilies.
• Prepare a Besan batter
• Add salt in besan batter
• Add Amchur powder 1 TSP
• Add 1 TSP fennel seeds powder mix
• Add ½ TSP Turmeric powder
• Add 1 TSP Masala Mix
• Add Baking soda ¼ TSP
• Mix it nicely
• Heat the oil for deep fry
• Dip the stuffed chilli into the batter.
• Coat it very well with the batter
• Deep fry
• Serve hot
