Quick Fish Pakora | Crispy Fish Fritters | By KTT | Kashmiri Tadka Twist

Presenting the recipe for this simple to make yet delicious crispy fish pakora. Choose the fillets of your favorite fish and get started to make the best fish fritters in town. Better than your fav resturant makes. Don't believe? Try yourself

Ingredients:

1. Fish Fillets (Fish of your choice) - 4 pcs

For the Batter:

2. Besan (Gram Flour) – 1/3 cup
3. Chawal Ka Atta (Rice Flour) 1/3 cup
4. Maida (All Purpose Flour) 1/3 cup
5. Onion Powder - 1 tbsp
6. Garlic Powder - 1/2 tbsp
7. Saunf Powder (Fennel Seed Pdr) - 1/2 tsp
8. Salt - 1 1/2 tsp or As Per Taste
9. Dry Basil leaves - 1/2 tsp
10.Haldi (Turmeric Pdr) - 1/2 tsp
11.Lal Mirch (Red Chilli powder)
12. water - As needed


Method:

1. Take the fish fillets and cut these into small sticks like pieces and keep aside.

2. In a bowl add all the above ingredients and mix well.

3. Add water to it to make a thick batter paste of desired consistency (Note: We like it bit thick as it soaks up less oil while frying).
4. Add the fish pieces to the batter and coat them generously.
5. Heat oil in a pan and fry the batter coated fish pieces.
6. Keep turning so that they don't stick.
7. Fry until the fritters/pakoras are crispy and red in color.
8. Dish out and serve with any dip of your choice.

Dip Recipe:

Ingredients:

1. Mayonnaise - 1 tbsp
2. Mint Chutney - 1/2 tsp
3. Hot Sauce - 1/2 tsp
4. Ketchup - 1 tsp

Method:

Mix all of these in a small bowl and your dip is ready!
