Rajma masala
Hii everyone. Today I m sharing authentic punjabi Rajma Recipe..
Rajma masala recipe:
Ingredients:
Rajma 2cup(soaked overnight )
Onion Paste 3 medium sized
Tomato Paste 4-5 medium sized
Ginger Garlic paste 1tsp
Salt
Red pepper powder (kashmiri) 1tsp
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Coriander powder 1tsp
Garam Masala ½ tsp
Mango powder(aamchurPowder) ¼ tsp(optional)


Method:
1. Boil the rajma.For boiling ,add rajma in a pressure cooker and add 4-5 cups of water and add salt and cover the lid and boil it on high flame till one whistle and after that turn the flame to low and let it cook for another 15- 20 minutes on low flame. After 20 minutes ,turn off the flame and let the cooker cools down to room tempertaure and desteamed by itself.
2. Prepare the masala:
1. Heat the oil ion apan and adad cumin seeds and cook them for 10 seconds or till they start crackle.
2. Add ginger garlic paste and cook it for 1 minute on medium flame .
3. Add Green chilly(optional) and onion paste and cook it on medium flame for 3-4 minutes or till it gets golden brown.
4. Add tomato paste ad cook it for another 3-4 minutes or till it leaves the oil from sides.
5. Add coriander powder , turmeric powder,red pepper powder, garam masala , mango powder(optional) and salt. Mix them well and cook it for 1 minute
6. turn off the flame and our masala is ready
3. mix the boiled rajma and prepared masala nad cook it on high flame till 2 whistles.
4. Our Rajma Masala recipe is ready and coriander leaves for freshness and garnishing.
