Punjabi Dal Makhani - दाल मखनी | Dhaba Style Dal Makhani By Seema | India Food Network

A traditional recipe, this one will add a bit of mum's love to any meal! Serve with rice or simply eat with roti, Seema has the simplest way to making Dal Makhni, keeping the flavour intact!

Ingredients
• 1 cup of kali dal (whole black urad/ whole black lentils) + ¼ cup of rajma (kidney beans) pre soaked for 2-3 hrs
• 2 large onions chopped
• 3 tbsp of coriander leaves, finely chopped
• 4 large tomatoes pureed
• 3 tbsp of fresh cream
• 3 tbsp of ginger-garlic paste
• 2-3 green chillies slit
• 2 tbsp of ghee (clarified butter)
• 1 tbsp of butter
• 1 ½ tsp of salt
• 1 ¼ tsp of red chilli powder
• 1 ¼ tsp of jeera powder
• 1 ¼ tsp of dhaniya powder (coriander powder)
• 1 tbsp of kasoori methi
