A full power packed dish that is rich in protein as the name suggests. A perfect meal to start off your day!

PROTEIN DOSA

Ingredients

1½ cups Tata Sampan Green Moong
½ cup rice
1 green chilli
2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves
½ inch ginger piece
Salt to taste
¼ tsp asafoetida (hing)
Oil for greasing + for drizzling

Method

1. Soak Tata Sampann Green Moong and rice separately with sufficient water for 7-8 hours.
2. Drain and put the soaked Tata Sampann Green Moon and soaked rice in a blender jar. Break green chillies and add. Add chopped coriander and roughly chop ginger and add. Pour ½ cup water and blend to a smooth paste. Transfer into a large bowl.
3. Add salt and asafoetida and mix well.
4. Heat a cast iron tawa, grease with oil. Pour a ladle of the batter and spread in a circular motion to make a dosa. Drizzle oil on the sides and cook for 1-2 minutes or till golden brown and crisp. Loosen the sides and roll and transfer on to a serving plate.
5. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
