Bored of the usual red and white sauce pasta? Here's one with a desi sauce which is going to be your next favourite thing!
PASTA IN MAKHANI SAUCE

Ingredients

3 cups boiled pasta
¼ medium yellow capsicum
¼ medium red capsicum
¼ medium green capsicum
2 tsps olive oil
1 tbsp chopped garlic
1 tsp chilli flakes
3-4 mushrooms, sliced
7-8 broccoli florets, boiled
Salt to taste
½ tsp garam masala powder
½ tsp kasoori methi powder
1 tbsp honey
Parmeasan cheese as required
Fried basil leaves for garnish
Makhani Sauce
500 grams tomatoes, quartered
½ mace blade
6-7 garlic cloves
5-6 green cardamoms
½ cup butter
1½ tsps Tata Sampann Chilli Powder

Method

1. In a pressure cooker take tomatoes, mace, garlic, green cardamom, butter, Tata Sampann Chilli Powder and 1 cup water, mix well and pressure cook for 3-4 whistles.
2. Cut mixed capsicums into triangles. Set aside.
3. Once the pressure settles down, blend the tomatoes and strain the mixture. Set aside.
4. Heat oil in a nonstick pan, add garlic, sauté for a minute. Add chilli flakes and mushrooms, sauté for a minute.
5. Add the makhani sauce, cook for 1-2 minutes.
6. Add capsicum, broccoli, salt, garam masala powder, kasoori methi powder, honey and pasta, mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes. Grate parmeasan cheese, mix well.
7. Serve hot, garnished with fried basil.
