Pan-Fried Fish Filet (煎鱼排) | The Chinese Cuisine

Crispy, delicious exterior enveloping fresh, buttery soft sea bass--these pan-fried fish filets are irresistible!

INGREDIENTS:
- 1/8-1/4 cup oil
- 1 tsp. salt/filet
- flour
- 1 egg
- Sichuan pepper powder
- 2 sea bass (4 filets)

DIRECTIONS:
1. Filet the two fish as shown in the video (slice meat off bone)
2. Sprinkle Sichuan pepper powder and salt on the filets
3. Marinate for 1 hour
4. Before pan-frying, coat both sides of filet in flour then in whisked egg
5. Pan-fry both sides on med-low heat until golden brown
6. Serve immediately for best taste and enjoy!
