Palak Paneer | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Palak Paneer a splendid blend of taste, texture and flavour while being highly nutritious. The ingredients blend together in a medley producing a heavenly taste.

PALAK PANEER

Ingredients

2 large bunches spinach (palak), blanched and pureed
250 grams cottage cheese (paneer), cut into ½ inch cubes
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)
1-2 green chillies, chopped
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon fresh cream + for drizzling

Method

1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds and when it changes colour, add green chillies and garlic and sauté till garlic turns golden brown.
2. Add turmeric powder and sauté. Add spinach puree, mix and cook for 2 minutes. Add salt, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.
3. Add cottage cheese cubes, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add 1 tablespoon cream and mix well.
4. Drizzle some cream and serve hot.
