The kids asked for some cookies the other day, perfect timing to bake some Oat Chocolate Cookies. I'm waiting for the apples to come back at the farmers market to bake the Fall Apple version. Meanwhile, enjoy this chocolaty one!INGREDIENTS:1 1/2 Cup all purpose flour1 tsp baking soda1 tsp cinnamon or pumpkin pie spices1/2 tsp sea salt1 cup butter (2 sticks), melted1 cup sugar (or maple syrup)2 large eggs, room temperaturesplash of vanilla extract3 cups rolled oats2 cups chocolate chips (I like dark chocolate)Bake to 350F for 12 min. Let cool down for 5 min and enjoy.Store on the countertop in a basket, no air tight container or they will get chewy.Enjoy!!
