Presenting the recipe for Nariyal Panjiri . Panjiri is a staple from the Punjab region of Pakistan and India and is treated as a nutritional supplement & postpartum diet in these countries. Traditionally it is made from whole-wheat flour fried in sugar and ghee, heavily laced with dried fruits and herbal gums. In this video we have made Nariyal Panjiri which is made from coconut instead of whole-wheat. It is usually eaten in the winters to ward off cold. Since Panjiri is packed with nutrition, it's commonly given to lactating mothers as well. Its consumed as a sweet sometimes and is used in ritualistic practices as well.
