With the combination of various dals, this dosa is a protein powerhouse for everyone.MULTI DAL DOSAIngredients¼ cup kolam rice, washed, soaked for 4-5 hours and drained½ cup split skinless black gram (dhuli urad dal), washed, soaked for 4-5 hours and drained½ cup split skinless red lentil (dhuli masoor dal), washed, soaked for 4-5 hours and drained½ cup split Bengal gram (chana dal), washed, soaked for 4-5 hours and drained½ cup split pigeon peas (toor dal), washed, soaked for 4-5 hours and drained½ cup split skinless green gram (dhuli moong dal), washed, soaked for 4-5 hours and drained1 tsp fenugreek seeds, soaked for 2-3 hours and drainedSalt to tasteOil for drizzlingCoconut chutney to serveMethod1. Put kolam rice in a mixer jar. Add split skinless black gram, split skinless red lentil, split Bengal gram, spit pigeon peas, split skinless green gram, fenugreek seeds and ¾ cup water and grind to a fine paste. 2. Transfer the paste into a large bowl. Mix it well using your hand. Cover and set aside to ferment for 6-8 hours. 3. Add salt into the batter and mix well. 4. Heat a non-stick tawa. Pour a ladleful of the batter and spread it evenly to make a thin disc. Drizzle a little oil and cook for 2-3 minutes on medium heat.5. Fold the dosa in half and serve hot with coconut chutney.
