Methi Chicken is a delicious Indian main course recipe prepared from chicken tossed in rich Indian spices and fenugreek leaves.Ingredients:6 chicken drumsticks¼ kg methi leavesFor The Marination:1 tsp garlic paste1½ tsp ginger pasteJuice of 1 lemon1 tsp black pepper powderFor The Gravy:5 tbsp mustard oil1 tsp cumin seeds1 tbsp finely chopped garlic 2 medium onions finely chopped1 tbsp finely chopped ginger3 green chillies finely chopped½ cup yogurtJuice of ½ a lemons¼ cup fresh coriander finely chopped3 tbsp of fresh creamGaram Masala Paste 1 black cardamom seeds, ½” cinnamon, ½ star anise, waterMethod:- Marinate the chicken with garlic ginger paste, lemon juice and pepper powder- Heat the mustard oil and crackle the cumin seeds. Then add the chopped garlic once they turn golden add the ginger and the green chillies and sauté for a minute and onions and fry till golden.- Add the methi leaves and saute for a few minutes.
