Idlis prepared with a yummy green pea stuffing and served with coconut chutney. Try this variation of your favourite breakfast!MATAR SUJI IDLIIngredients1 cup boiled and crushed green peas (matar)1½ cups semolina (suji)1 cup yogurt1 tbsp oil1 tsp cumin seedsA pinch of asafoetida1 tsp grated ginger1 tbsp dried mango powder (amchur)½ tsp red chilli powder½ tsp turmeric powder¾ tsp cumin powderSalt to tasteCoconut chutney for servingMethod1. Take semolina in a bowl. Add yogurt, ½ cup water and mix well. Set aside for 10-15 minutes.2. Heat oil in a shallow nonstick pan. Add cumin seeds and once they start to change colour, add asafoetida, ginger and sauté for 30 seconds.3. Add green peas, dried mango powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder and salt and mix well. Take the pan off the heat and set aside to cool down.4. Add salt and ½ cup water to semolina mixture and mix well.5. Heat idli steamer. Pour a portion of semolina mixture in idli mould. Place a portion of green peas mixture and pour some more semolina mixture on top.6. Steam for 10-12 minutes.7.
