It happens to be one of the starters we order when we go out to eat, which is unusual. So, while we wait for the main course, we happily nibble on the spicy and crisp masala papads. Masala papad is a tasty starter snack that consists of crisp fried/roasted papads topped with a masala filling of onions, tomatoes, and spices. This is not a recipe as such, but just a method. You can have your own spice or herb variations.
