Garlic chutney is a very healthy chutney as garlic has antibacterial and antifungal properties. This chutney can accompany with plain chapatti or paratha.

Ingredients:
Garlic cloves 1 Cup
Fresh coconut pieces 1/2 Cup
Curry leaves 2 Springs
Red chillies 4 Numbers
Tamarind 10 Grams
Salt To taste

Directions:
1. In a blender add garlic cloves, fresh coconut pieces, curry leaves, red chillies, tamarind, salt, with just a little water to grind into a smooth paste.

2. For tempering : Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, urad dal, chana dal and fry it till it gets nice color then transfer the prepared chutney into this and mix it well.

3. Serve this with hot rice
