KURKURA CORN PAKODA

Ingredients

1½ cups corn kernels
1 cup refined flour
3 tbsps cornflour
1 tsp dried mixed herbs
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp Tata Sampann Chilli Powder + to sprinkle
Salt to taste
A pinch of baking soda
Chaat masala to sprinkle

Method

1. Take refined flour in a bowl. Add cornflour, dried mixed herbs, garlic powder, Tata Sampann Chilli Powder and salt.
2. Add 2 cups chilled water and whisk well. Add baking soda and mix well.
3. Add corn kernels and mix well.
4. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Drop small portions of mixture in oil and deep fry till golden brown and crisp.
5. Drain on an absorbent paper. Sprinkle chaat masala and Tata Sampann Chilli Powder and serve.
