Today we are going to a food random tour at the golden mile area. Golden mile area is also known as mini thai and also the coach bus area. There are many thai resturants and shops.if you take bus coach to thailand, malaysia. You will be also familiar with the area. This will be a special approach where we just randomly go and tried out the stall that the stall outlook looks good. Thank you for my friend who knows how to tell if the food is good just by looking at the stall.The nearest MRT is the Nicoll highland. After that you can cross the overhead bridge to the golden mile tower. At the city Gate Mall, we saw a $1 coffee promotion from 4pm-7pm. Now, it is 6pm. Lets go in. The coffee tastes good and the aroma is very fragant. I always like coffee in a porcelain cup. This shop also sells cracker, coffee powder, and also main course: like curry and bah Kut.We walked to the Sultan Plaza. This is one of the items which we saw from the facebook. Only this one that we do a check before going in. This is the foodcourt of the sultan plaza. It is busling with young people. Lets take a look at the XO seafood Noodles menu. We ordered the XO Seafood noodle. The soup is sweet and has distinct after taste. The Bee Hoon is very soft and resembles more of noodles than Bee Hoon. For the price of $8.90, you get lala, 1 big prawn, cuttlefish and vegetables, The portion is big and can shared by 2 persons. We move on to find another hidden gem. We are here at the Golden Mile Tower. We passed by this stall known as king of fried rice. From the appearance of the restaurant, my friend guessed that the fried rice must be tasty. There are 4 flavours, Original egg, XO, Tom Yam and Mala. Upon seeing majority of the people order the pork chop, we ordered the XO flavour with pork chop. I tried the rice first. The rice is Japanese, and is one grain by one grain. The pop chop is even better, softer and the marinated taste is fused into the meat. This fried rice tastes 4x better than the Ding Tai Fung. It is my favourite time! Dessert time. Today, we are having Thai Dessert, the Ruby at the Nana original Thai Food Restaurant. The menu look so old so this food here must be good. The menu must have been touched by thousands of people. This red ruby doesnt appealing but when I eat it, I cannot stop myself from having another sip. It is a sudden killer. It is not so sweet and the proportion of the ice is just right. One bowl is not enough. We got another one with the chendol. This is just as killing.
