Kara Chutney Recipe | इडली और दोसे की चटनी | Hotel Style | Dose Ki Chutney Kaise BanayeKara Chutney is a Spicy Chutney, Which can be served along with South Indian snacks as well as with some of the North Indian Dishes.2 tbsp. Yellow Gram Lentil 2 tbsp. Split Black Gram Lentil 1 Onion slices2 Chopped Tomatoes 2 tbsp. Tamarind Pulp 4 clove Garlic 4-5 Dry Red Chili 3-4 tbsp. Oil ½ tsp. Black Mustard Seeds Salt to taste 10-12 Curry Leaves Heat oil in a pan, add Yellow Gram Lentil, Split Black Gram Lentil, Dry Red Chili, sauté a little, then add Onion slices. When Onion changes colour, add Garlic, sauté, now add Chopped Tomatoes. Stir and cook till the Tomatoes are done. Remove from heat.When the mixture cools down, add Tamarind Pulp and Salt and grind the mixture into a thick, fine paste.For Tempering, add Black Mustard Seeds, Dry Red Chili and Curry Leaves in hot oil, sauté and remove from heat. Sprinkle this tempering over chutney paste. Mix and enjoy.
