Every true blue desi will agree!KADHIIngredients ½ cup yogurt1 tbsp gram flour2 tbsps oil1 tsp mustard seeds1 tsp cumin seeds3-4 cloves1 inch cinnamon stick6-8 curry leaves2-3 dried red chillies2-3 green chillies, slit½ tsp fenugreek seeds (methi dana) ¼ tsp asafoetida (hing)1 tsp sugarSalt to tasteMethod1. Take yogurt in a bowl, add gram flour and 1 ½ cups water and whisk till smooth. Set aside.2. Heat oil in a deep pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon stick, curry leaves, dried red chillies, green chillies slit, fenugreek seeds and asafoetida and sauté for a few seconds. 3. Slowly pour yogurt-gram flour mixture into the pan and whisk continuously. Cook for 1-2 minutes.4. Add sugar and salt and mix. Cook for 15-20 minutes on low heat, stirring in between. 5. Take the pan off the heat and serve hot.
