Learn how to make Tomato Ketchup at home from our chef Archana on Ruchkar Mejwani Basic Cooking. Tomato Ketchup is a quick and easy to make sauce recipe prepared from tomato pulp and aromatic spices.Ingredients:1/2 kg Tomato1 tsp Red Chilli Powder3 tbsp Sugar1 inch Cinnamon3-4 Cloves8-10 Black Pepper2 Masala Cardamom1 Green Chilli7-8 Garlic1 tsp Cumin Seeds1 tsp VinegarSaltWaterMethod:- Grind the tomatoes in a mixer blender. Pass the tomato pulp through a sieve and keep it aside.- Heat a sauce pan. Add the tomato pulp, red chilli powder, sugar and salt. Mix everything well.- Take a muslin cloth. Add cinnamon, cloves, black pepper, masala cardamom, green chilli, garlic and cumin seeds. Tie the knot and add this to the tomato pulp.- Add little water and vinegar. Let everything come to a boil.- Once the sauce thickens switch off the flame.
