How to make Lemon Panna Cotta Recipe | Glen And Friends Cooking

This Lemon Panna Cotta is a classic dessert, sure to be a hit at your next dinner party or on Tuesday night.

Ingredients:
1/3 cup (75 mL) milk
1 (.25 ounce) envelope unflavoured gelatine
2½ cups (625 mL) heavy cream (35%)
½ cup (125 mL) white sugar
1½ tsp (7 mL) pure vanilla extract
Zest of one lemon

Method:
Pour milk into a small bowl and stir in the gelatine powder.
Set aside.
In a saucepan, stir together the heavy cream, lemon zest, and sugar.
Set over medium heat and bring to a boil.
Watch carefully because the cream could boil over.
Pour the gelatine / milk mixture into the boiling cream.
Stir and cook 1 minute more.
Remove from the heat and stir in vanilla.
Strain into serving dishes and cool uncovered to room temp.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Makes 375 mL (3 cups) of panna cotta.
