Date And Tamarind Chutney is used as a basic recipe in many chaat dishes. Check out chef Ruchi Bharani's take on this popular chutney recipe.Ingredients:400 gm. red dates100 gm. jaggery50 gm. tamarind1/4 tsp. asafoetida (heeng)2 tsp. red chilli powder2 tsp. coriander cumin seed powdersalt to tastewaterMethod:- Add the dates to a round bottom pan. Add 2 cups of water. Stir well. Let it come to a boil.- Add jaggery, salt, coriander cumin seed powder, red chilli powder and asafoetida.
