How to make ★Bubble Tea★from scratch! 〜タピオカの作り方〜(EP127) | Kitchen Princess Bamboo

Today I'm going to be making, Bubble tea from scratch!

Bubble tea or Boba tea is booming in Japan. We call it as "Tapioca" and it looks never peak out. Especially, young people crazy about it. They are in a long line to have just one bottle.

The chewy small starchy balls have attracted Japanese people.

But I don't want to be in a long line, so I decided to make them from scratch!

〈ingredients〉
・black tapioca pearls
25 g dark brown sugar
50 g tapioca starch or potato starch. Corn starch can not be a substitute.
40 ml water
・dark sugar syrup
50 g dark brown sugar
150 ml water
・milk tea
1 tbsp tea leaf Assam or Kenya is my favorite for milk tea
½ cup water
½ cup whole milk any milk of your choice
・matcha milk
½ tbsp matcha powder
½ tbsp powdered sugar
2 tbsp boiling water
⅔ cup whole milk any milk of your choice
・brown sugar milk
⅔ cup whole milk any milk of your choice
