How to Make Thai Mango Sticky Rice Dessert - Thai Girl in the Kitchen

Today let's see how to make Thai Mango Sticky Rice Dessert or we call 'Kawniew Mamuang' in Thai ().

Mango sticky rice is the most famous Thai dessert with good reasons.
There's a few elements we need to complete and it's easy peasy.

Recipe: Thai Mango Sticky Rice Dessert | Thai Girl in the Kitchen

- 500g. Glutinous Rice (Soaked overnight or at least 4 hours)
- 3-4 Ripe Mangoes

Sweet Coconut Cream Mixture
- 400ml. Coconut Milk
- 180g. Sugar (You can add more if you want sweeter)
- 2 tsp. Salt

Coconut Cream Topping
- 200ml. Coconut Milk
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 40g. Sugar
- 2 tsp. Rice Flour

Topping with Peeled Mung Beans

To cook sticky rice in a rice cooker:
1. Wash and rinse the rice as shown in the video.
2. Put the clean cloth sheet on the rice cooker pot.
3. Put the washed glutinous rice on top on the sheet (500g. Will be around 3.5 rice cup).
4. Pour 3.5 cups(same amount with rice).
5. Fold the cloth sheet and press the button to cook :)
