Ingredients

1 pound ground sausage
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
3 cups milk
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1 00:00:18 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add in ground sausage. Use a spatula to break up the sausage into small pieces and cook until sausage is browned and cooked through, about 8 minutes.

2 00:00:44 - Stir in all purpose flour until no white powder remains.

3 00:01:00 - Slowly add in milk, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer until sauce is thickened, 2 to 3 minutes.

4 00:01:15 - Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot over toast or biscuits.
