How to Make Pickled Cucumbers

The taste of homemade pickles is far more superior than the ones bought from supermarkets. Auntie Saniye is highly recommending that you try this easy tutorial. You can enjoy them all winter long.

INGREDIENTS:
3 kilograms of pickling cucumbers (they are bumpy skinned, small cucumbers with fewer seeds)
2 litres of water
2 cups of grape vinegar OR balsamic vinegar
1 cup of chickpeas
1 clove of garlic, chopped finely
4 tablespoons of rock salt, the spoons shouldn't be overfilled
5 cubes of sugar (or 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar)
Half a teaspoon of citric acid (also known as lemon salt)
