Winter is the perfect season for a bowl of warming and comforting soup. So today we are making hot and sour soup, 酸辣汤, for the cold winter days.

It’s warm, punchy, hearty, and healthy. The soup has a slightly spicy and sharp taste but at the same time, very soothing and comforting. And it is filled with lots and lots of tasty and healthy ingredients.

Ingredients:
400g chicken breast
200g needle mushrooms
1 pack soft tofu
2 eggs
7 Dried wood ears
7 Dried shiitake mushrooms
2 green onions
1 bunch cilantro (optional)
1 tomato
4 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp black pepper ground
2 tbsp Chinese black vinegar
1 tbsp sesame oil
1/2 cup corn starch

200克金针菇
1包嫩豆腐
2个鸡蛋
7个干木耳
7个干香菇
2根葱
1把香菜(可选)
1个番茄
4勺酱油
3勺胡椒粉
2勺香醋
1勺香油
1/2杯玉米淀粉
