Homemade Crispy Finger Chips | Easy French Fries | Potato Wedges

French Fries are the most common snack that each and every restaurant carry on its menu. It acts as a snack in it self but is also generally served as a side dish with lunch or dinner mains. Fries are usually salted and, depending on the country, may be served with ketchup, vinegar, mayonnaise, tomato sauce, or other local specialties. Fries are every kids favorite.

Ingredients:

1. Potatoes - Peeled or Unpeeled - 3 -4
2. Salt - 1-2 tbsp
3. Corn Flour - 3 tbsp
4. Oil - Enough for deep frying the fries
5. Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp (For seasoning)
7. Dried Mint powder- 1/2 tsp (For seasoning)

Method:

1. Cut potatoes evenly in stripes/chips
2. Place in boiling water for about 3 mins
3. Pat dry
4. In a large bowl add dried chips and sprinkle with salt (1 tbsp)
5. Add corn flour & mix well
6. Heat oil in a pan (Enough to deep fry the fries)
7. When fries are half done take out for a min or two (two-bath method)
8. Now again fry the half-fried chips again until they become more crispy.
9. Take out and season with salt, red chilli powder , dried mint etc.
