Healthy Chinese Cakes (山药蓝莓糕+红薯糕) | The Chinese Cuisine

These Chinese cakes are delicious, healthy, and easy to make!

INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 chinese yam (nagaimo root)
- 1 sweet potato
- 1 tbsp. crofter's blueberry jam
- 1 tbsp. ground black sesame seed
- 1 tbsp. rice flour
- 1 tbsp. glutinous rice flour
- 1 tsp. olive oil

DIRECTIONS:
1. roast yam & sweet potato in oven at 400 F for 1 hour (make sure they're softened)
2. peel them and mash
3. add in jam to the yam and mix well
4. add in ground sesame to the sweet potato and mix well
5. add 1/2 tbsp. rice flour and 1/2 tbsp. glutinous rice flour to the yam, and then the sweet potato
6. pour onto baking sheet and bake at 300 F for 10 minutes or until the mixture is a bit drier
7. coat moon cake mold in thin layer of olive oil. form the mixture into a ball and put it in mold accordingly.
8. serve and enjoy!
