Locals claim it's the best Laksa and after having tried quite a number of Laksa Soups I believe them to this point. Air Itam is also the birth place of Asam Laksa. This restaurant is called Pasar Air Itam Laksa and is located just in front of the wet market. The bus from the centre of George Town passes by conveniently.
