Ghujiya With Sheera (Fusion Somasi) || Diwali Recipes || Dakshin Curry | India Food Network

Ingredients:
Rava Kesari/ Sheera- 1 cup
For dough:
Maida/ Refined flour- 1 cup
Khus Khus- 1 tbsp
Rava- 1.5 tbsp
Ghee/ Oil- 1 tbsp
Water- to make dough
Oil- for deep frying

Method:
1. Dry roast the khus khus till it becomes golden brown.
2. Mix refined flour, rava, roasted khus khus and add water slowly to make a dough.
3. Add little oil or ghee when the dough starts coming together.
4. Cover the dough and rest for 10-15 minutes.
5. Make small roundles and roll it out into small rotis.
6. Place the sheera/rava kesari on the rotis and seal it in a crescent shape.
7. Deep fry in oil on a medium or low flame till it becomes golden brown.
