Make this chutney and enjoy this flavourful and healthy haldi chutney.FRESH TURMERIC CHUTNEYIngredients1½ inch fresh turmeric, peeled and roughly chopped½ cup scraped fresh coconut3 garlic cloves2 green chilliesSalt to taste1 tbsp oil½ tsp mustard seeds¼ tsp asafoetida (hing)12-15 curry leaves2 dried red chillies, brokenHot idlis to serveMethod1. In a blender jar, add coconut, garlic cloves, green chillies, fresh turmeric, salt and ¼ cup water and blend to fine paste. Transfer into a large bowl.2. For the tempering, heat oil in a tempering pan. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add asafoetida, curry leaves and dried red chillies and mix well. Take the pan off the heat. 3. Transfer the tempering in the prepared chutney and mix well. Transfer into a serving bowl.4. Serve with hot idlis.
