Fish Burger (鱼汉堡) | The Chinese Cuisine

A tasty, veggie-laden fish patty tucked between two pillowy soft homemade bing.

INGREDIENTS (4 servings):
- 3 cod filet
- 1 cup frozen peas, carrots, corn
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup cornstarch (more if needed)
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 2 tsp. sugar
- ginger powder
- ground white pepper powder
- garlic powder
- hot sesame oil
- cooking oil

DIRECTIONS:
1. mince the fish filet (defrosted if frozen, use paper towel to soak up excess liquid)
2. mince the veggies (defrosted if frozen) and combine it with the fish
3. add in white pepper powder, ginger powder, garlic powder, sugar, cornstarch, salt, white wine, hot oil, and eggs
4. mix well and add in more corn starch if needed to soak up excess liquid
5. add ~1 tsp of oil into hot pan
6. form batter into circular patty
7. pan fry until golden brown on both sides
8. serve and enjoy!
