Egg Pepper Masala Gravy in Tamil | Egg Masala Gravy for Chapathi | Egg Masala Gravy Restaurant Style

Restaurant style egg masala:

This is the spicy flavourful and delicious egg curry made in restaurant style. This egg masala

served with hot rotti and parotta taste, yummy which will leave you mouth watering. This egg

masala is popular for their unique taste and rich flavour. Indian cuisine is diverse and its made

in numerous ways in every region. now let us see how to make this delicious egg masala.

Following are the ingrediants needed:

6 boiled eggs
2 tbl spoon grated cocunut
2 tbl spoon groundnuts
1 tbl spoon coriander seeds
1 tbl spoon cumin seeds
1 tbl spoon sesame seeds
1 tbl spoon poppy seeds
1 big onion chopped finely
1 tbl spoon red chili powder
1 tbl spoon ginger garlic paste
2 tomatoes ground into fine paste
1/4 tbl spoon turmeric powder
5 to 6 cashews
1/2 tbl spoon fennel powder
2 nos cardamom
3 nos cloves
a small piece of cinnamon
few kalpasi/dagad phool/black stone flower
1 no star anise
1 no kapok buds
oil as needed
salt as needed
Tamarind water extracted out of a lemon sized tamarind
few curry leaves
few coriander leaves

To prepare the grinding miture:

Step 1: Heat an empty pan and add groundnuts once it is hot.

Step 2: Add the coriander seeds to it and roast well.

Step 3: Add the cumin seeds, poppy seeds, sesame seeds and cashews roast well.cashews enhance the

taste buds.

Step 4: Add grated coconuts and roast again

Step 5:Now grind the above mixture into a paste.

To prepare the egg masala:

Step 1: Heat an empty pan with oil. Once hot add the spices.

Step 2: Add onions and saute well.

Step 3: Add ginger garlic paste followed by curry leaves and coriander leaves

Step 4: Now add the ground paste into it.

Step 5: Add red chillie powder followed by turmeric powder and saute well.

Step 6: Add the tomato paste and saute again. Add salt as needed

Step 7: Add the tamarind water to it.

Step 8: Let it boil. Add little water to it.

Step 9: Let it boil until it turns to a thick consistency. Once it becomes thick add the boiled

egg cut through the middle.

Tasty and spicy restaurant style egg masala is ready to be served.
