Watch this video to find out how to make this recipe.DHAN DARIngredients1½ cups (200 grams) split skinless pigeon peas (toor dal), soaked for 30 minutes and drainedSalt to taste¼ teaspoon turmeric powder1 tablespoon ghee4 garlic cloves1-2 green chilli, finely chopped1 teaspoon cumin seedsMethod1. Take dal in a pressure cooker and place on heat. Add 3-4 cups water, salt and turmeric powder, cover and cook on high heat for 10-15 minutes. Reduce heat and cook for 10 minutes.2. Thinly slice garlic cloves. 3. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add sliced garlic, green chillies and cumin seeds and sauté till garlic turns golden brown. 4. Add three-fourth of the tempering to cooked dal, mix well and bring to boil.5.
