Dahi Bhindi दही भिंडी or dahi wali bhindi masala is a combination of fried bhindi and yogurt, with plenty of spices which gives a tangy flavour to the dish. Dahi wali bhindi is simply delicious, and easy to make a simple recipe of okras prepared in yogurt and spices. Dahi Bhindi in hindi is a great way to enjoy okra in tangy creamy sauce. Dahi Bhindi recipe is served best with rice, chappatis and paranthas.


Dahi Bhindi Ingredients
Bhindi - 200 grams cut into 1 inch pieces
Curd - 2 Tbsp
Besan - 1 Tbsp
Oil - 2 Tbsp
Ginger paste - 1/2 tsp
Green chili - 2
Tomato - 1 finely chopped
Tej patta - 2
A pinch of hing powder
Salt - 1 tsp
Haldi powder -1 tsp
Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
Amchur powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp

How to make Dahi Bhindi:
* Take a pan add 1 tbsp oil.
* Add tej patta and add bhindi.
* Add green chili also in it.
* Fry and cook for 2 min.
* Take this out in a bowl and keep aside.
* Add 1 tbsp oil in the same pan.
* Add haldi powder, ginger paste and tomato.
* Mix well and add besan to it.
* Cook for 2 mins till little aroma comes out of it.
* Add curd, red chili powder, amchur powder, hing powder, coriander powder and salt.
* Stir continuously.
* Add fried bhindi to it.
* Cook for 2 mins and add 2 tbsp water to it.
* Close the lid and cook for 5 mins.
* After 5 mins mix well and your delicious dahi bhindi is ready to serve with chapattis.
